I rewrote my first chapter, it's a bit longer now and it now has a prologue ^^
here it is:
Prologue
The Snow Kids had won the cup!
And the afterparty had been great.
Ahito, the dark-haired, always lazy, but fantastic keeper of the Snow Kids, had been sleeping almost the whole evening.
Thran, Ahito’s older brother, had been sitting next to the keeper, enjoying the view of people partying, too tired to participate.
Mei and D’jok were now seeing each other, and had been dancing, smooching and cuddling the whole evening.
Micro-Ice, the clown of the team, didn’t seem to be bothered at all, which was strange, for he still held feelings for the beautiful brunette.
Tia and Rocket had first talked things over, in private. The blonde, with brilliant green eyes seemed happier than ever, once they joined the party. Holding hands with the golden eyed, captain of the team.
Aarch held a satisfied grin on his face, while looking at his nephew and, he presumed, his girlfriend. He had known from the beginning, that there was chemistry between the two. The way they talked, laughed, shared secrets with each other, it was just meant to be, sooner or later. His nephew seemed so happy, as did Tia. Inwardly, he wished them both all the best.
Chapter 1
He clicked the switch. The lights of the dormitory flickered on.
“Ok, guys, and girls! Get ready! I expect every one of you in 15 minutes in the training room”, yelled Arch, leaving the room as quick as he had entered, not needing any response.
Looking at the alarm clock, Tia sighed, not wanting to leave the safe embrace of the teamcaptain.
“5AM… What the…”. She murmured. Next to her, Rocket opened his eyes and smiled in a comforting way.
On the other side of the room a loud moan could be heard.
“What has gotten into him?”, D’jok started, tilting his head lazily, while Mei gave him a quick peck on the cheek. “It’s 5AM for Christ sake!” Ahito continued.
In 10 minutes everyone was standing ‘ready’. They did have their trainings outfits on, but they looked as if they hadn’t slept well for over a week. This was true, actually.
Since the Snow Kids won the Galactik Football Cup, they had been training almost every day, for the new season was beginning soon. But never did they have to get up this early.
They had been placed in Poule 1 to compete with The Red Tigers, The Wambas and The Technoids. One of the stronger teams in the league, The Shadows, was luckily placed in Poule 2.
In two weeks they would have their first match of the new season.
But for now, the in yellow clad team, sleepily shuffled to the training room. Aarch was standing at the entrance, with his hands behind his back, his common stance.
“Where’s Ahito?” was the first thing he asked. Micro-Ice looked at him, as if he’d gone mad.
“What do you mean? He’s right behind us!”
“No, he’s not,” answered Aarch.
And as the Snow Kids turned, to see if what Aarch had said was true, they came to the conclusion he really was telling the truth.
“I’ll check the hallway,” said Thran.
“I’ll check the dormitory,” said Micro-Ice.
“And I’ll just sit here and wait for you guys to find him,” said D’jok.
Tia, Mei and Rocket were too tired to even fully register what was happening. Tia lazily laid her head against Rocket’s shoulder, and gave a big sigh.
“Lazy ass”, Rocket said jokingly.
“Ha! Look who’s talking,” The blonde snapped back.
“Not a morning person, are you?”
“No”
“Thought as much”
“Shut up!”
“Sure, sweetie”
Tia let out a frustrated sigh. Luckily Rocket got the hint, and didn’t continue.
D’jok, in the meantime, had almost fallen asleep in Mei’s lap.
Thran and Micro-Ice started the search for Ahito, which didn’t take long.
“I’ve found him!” yelled Thran, waking up the now sleeping D’jok.
Moments later he came round the corner with Ahito leaning and half sleeping on his shoulder.
“He was lying in the middle of the hallway, sleeping”, said Micro-Ice, “why didn’t that surprise me?” once they joined the others. Everyone began to laugh, which woke up Ahito.
“Hey people, I’m trying to sleep here”, he managed to pronounce, before he, once again fell in a rather deep sleep.
